Thankful Thursday - 1/21/10

Thankful Thursday at Truth 4 the Journey

Welcome to another Thankful Thursday. This is the day each week that I join Sonya at Truth 4 the Journey to list five things that I'm thankful for. They can be serious or silly, big or small because God honors them all.

1) I'm thankful for my wonderful husband. This is the weekend he switches days off. Plus he's taking an extra day off so we're going to have FIVE WHOLE DAYS off in a row together. That just doesn't happen often. Can you tell I'm just a little excited?

2) I'm so thankful for the warmer weather. It's been in the low to mid 50s for several days.

3) I'm also thankful that it's supposed to rain several times over the next few days. That means the salt and cinders will be washed away and I'll be riding my scooter soon.

4) I'm thankful for spending time with the grand-boy over the weekend. He's such a good little fella who loves family and has a heart and desire for God's word.

5) I'm thankful for the mp3 player my wonderful husband gave me for Christmas. I've loaded a ton of songs on it. Plus, I've loaded some workouts and dance music to bump up my walking and workouts.

What are you thankful for today, This Day? Please leave me a comment and be sure to hop on over to Sonya's to see how God is blessings others.

Peace and Joy,
Susan

James 1:2-3 (NIV) 2Consider it pure joy, my brothers, whenever you face trials of many kinds, 3because you know that the testing of your faith develops perseverance.

Great thankful list Susan. I think it may be time for me to get an Mp3 player. Let's keep these Thankful Thursday posts going. Even though Sonya will be resting our other leader never rests. :)

While I like cold weather, I'm thankful for the warmth, too! I'm in a wedding tomorrow in New Orleans...an outdoor wedding...with a sleeveless, short bridesmaid dress. THANKFULLY it's going to be about 70 degrees tomorrow. YEA!!!

Susan,

Cool list. You must live in a mild weathered place. Me too. I like late Summer/Early Fall the best.

Good day, sun shines!
There have were times of hardship when I didn't know about opportunities of getting high yields on investments. I was a dump and downright pessimistic person.
I have never imagined that there weren't any need in large initial investment.
Nowadays, I feel good, I started take up real money.
It gets down to select a correct companion who utilizes your funds in a right way - that is incorporate it in real business, and shares the income with me.

You may ask, if there are such firms? I'm obliged to answer the truth, YES, there are. Please be informed of one of them:

What a wonderful post!
We all have so much to be thankful for!
I'm thankful for my wonderful husband, two great sons, lovely daughter-in-law and baby on the way!
I'm thankful for my three spoiled dogs!
Mostly, I'm thankful that the Lord loves me so much that he sent his only son to die for me!
I just started blogging this month.
Please, please visit my Web site at www.realspiritualspinach.com. I have a blog and a few of the faith-based columns I write for the Fremont Tribune in Nebraska!
Thank you again for reminding me of just a few of the things for which I am grateful!

Blessings,

I love to read about your Thankful Thursdays. They inspire me to look for things to be thankful for. I am thankful for my early morning quiet time with the Lord. When the house is quiet, I can write, read about our Lord, and enjoy a cup of tea. :-)

(hugs to you)
