It's The Creeping Crud

And, it's creeped it's way into my house. Into me, to be more precise. My throat is scratchy. My head hurts. My body aches. I'm running a temperature. Ugh! This is day two. I'm worse today than I was yesterday.

urbandictionary.com:

creeping crud
military slang for highly contagious virii such as colds, stomach bugs, etc. that leave a person with any debilitating combination of non-stop runny nose, coughing up heavy phlegm, vomiting, diarrhea, extreme muscle weakness/pain, etc. The "creeping" part refers to the fact that it seems to make its way through ALL of the ranks eventually.

I hate being sick. Will a trip to the doctor help? I don't know, but I think I'll try to get in to see him tomorrow. I'll be back as soon as I feel better. Pray for my husband. I'm a whiny patient. And, please pray that he doesn't get it.

Peace and Joy,
Susan

1 Chronicles 16:34 (NKJV)  Oh, give thanks to the LORD, for He is good! For His mercy endures forever.

It's here, too, only in the form of a nasty cough and chest congestion.

OMG! been there done that but think I'm about to recover except for a lingering cough. I would suggest getting to a Dr. and hopefully yours will not go into pneumonia like mine did. Wishing you a quick recovery!

Susan, I am praying. Just finishing up a week of food poisoning... I don't even want to go into the flu, and it sound like this has hit you.

Affirming health for you dear friend. L

Garlic, girl! I'm telling you. Every winter I eat 1/2 or 1 whole clove in my food (don't cook the garlic, add it after you dish your part) I don't get sick all winter. When we moved here, I forgot (to overwhelmed at "winter") and I got sick. Every other day is ok, don't need every day. Every person I tell this too, or share my "kill a cold" drink...they get better quick or don't get sick at all. Don't roll your eyes, try it. Love you. Hope you feel better soon.

PS My motto "when things get rough, let's have tea" Maybe a good cup of tea would hit the spot.
