Thankful Thursday - 7/23/09

Thankful Thursday at Truth 4 the Journey

Hey Blog Peeps.....do you know what time it is? It's.....Thankful Thursday time! This is the time each week where I pause to share with you why I'm so thankful. They can be silly or serious, big or small because God honors them all.

Here we go:

1. I'm thankful for my husband's generous and trusting spirit. He willingly shares my time with friends and allows me to travel to visit them. I love that! Especially since I have family and friends across the U.S.

2. I'm thankful for fresh produce. Have I told you how much I l.o.v.e. summer?!

3. I'm thankful for a house.....maybe. We have a signed contract. It is still dependent on passing inspections (3 - structural, home, and termite) and an appraisal. I'll let you know.

4. I'm thankful for time I get to spend with my niece, grandson, and husband today and tomorrow. That's right Greg, my wonderful hubby made the list twice this week. hahaha!

5. Thankful for friendships and relationships. That includes you!

What are you thankful for today, This Day? Please leave me a comment or hop on over to Sonya's at Truth 4 the Journey and link up with your own list.

Peace and Joy,
Susan

2 Peter 3:8 (NIV) But do not forget this one thing, dear friends: With the Lord a day is like a thousand years, and a thousand years are like a day.

Hi!
Thanks for a great list! I love fresh strawberries at this time of the year, as do my kids who eat tonnes of them!

Your hubby must think the world of you featuring him twice this week!

Hi Susan. I also love fresh produce. I love that you and your hubby ride motorcycles. My brother enjoys riding too.

Thanks for visiting Heart Choices and leaving your comment. I always enjoy meeting new friends. One of your thankful people listed was your niece. Did you know that this Sunday is Savvy Auntie's Day?

Debbie: I did not know that about this Sunday. I'll have to think of something extra to do with her. Thanks.

Wishing you the very best with the home! We are thankful for the fresh veggies and fruits too. Such a healthy and cool way to have summer dinners.

I think Thankful Thursdays are good. Gratitude is the heart and soul of a faithful walk. "Let the peace of God rule in your hearts, since as members of one body you were called to peace. And be thankful." Co. 3:15. One of my favorite verses. Good post.

Did you get my other message about Memphis? It has changed a lot from when I lived there. When in town I'm usually with friends and go to the restaurants they frequent, and they are usually good!

Doesn't veggies taste so much better, right out of the garden?

I enjoy hearing about your husband and the relationship the two of you share for one another.

Lovingly,
Yolanda
