Striker, Apache, Fat Boy, Deuce, Jericho, Howizer, Ryder, Harley, Scooter, Reuger, Cruiser, Chopper, Kevlar, Barney.....Fife, Rosco P Coultrain, and Trooper.
Followed by: Throttle, Wolverines (because then if he runs away you can run into the street and yell "WOLVERINES" ahahaha. yes, I have warped friends), Shield, Sabre, Argos, and Cerberus.
The next batch of names we got included:
Ranger, Bandit, Chesty, Scud, Harley, Jasmine or Jazzy, Baxter, Butch, Jackson, Mike, Joe, Mack, Mavrick, Brusky, Bullet, Buster, Pumba, Razor, Rebel, Rex, Dexter, Sergeant, Dozer, Soldier, Flex, Hampton, Axle, Tank, Viper, Willow, Liberty, Justice, and Blaze.
We had fun with all the options. We narrowed it down to four but we just couldn't settle on one. Then we heard it. The name that would fit. Nobody else had this name or a name that sounded similar. Are you ready?
CHUMLEY!
Now some of you may be thinking of this guy from Pawn Stars:
Ummmm, No. We actually came up with the name from this old cartoon series:
Can I see a show of hands? Who knew we were talking about Tennessee Tuxedo? lol We bring home Chumley tomorrow. We're ready. I hope! Thanks for stopping by and visiting. What do you think of the name?
Peace and Joy,
Susan

Since I don't watch Pawn Stars, I knew exactly who you were talking about!
Awww...that's so cute!! Great name!
Oh, I love that name!! He is gonna be so happy with it. Yall enjoy the new member of your family!
My hubby and I watch Pawn Stars all the time...not familiar with the cartoon, surprisingly enough! I think Chumley is the PERFECT name for your newest addition!
Love the name...plus a trainer once told me a dog will respond to the 'Come" command better if their name ends in the -ey/ie sound.
Our dog's name does end in the -ie sound and she mostly comes when called : ) Hey, she's a bird dog and if she is on the scent of something she is truly deaf!
Have fun with your puppy!
It's definitely unique! I like unique names, so I like it.
I'm sure you probably mentioned this in an older post I haven't read yet, but is this a puppy? What kind? :)
I love it and thought of Tennessee Tuxedo right away. We had a dog when we were first married we named Pudley because every time you bent down to pet him he made puddles. Not that this story is relevant at all but Chumley made me think of Pudley. :)
I love it! I came in late on this so I'm assuming we're talking about an animal--a dog? I'll scoll down and keep reading....
