No Crib for a Bed

That was normalcy for Jesus. He had no place to call His own. Not here. Not on Earth. He was born in a stable. Among the lowliest of creatures. From His birth to His death, He could honestly say to each of us: "I know how you feel. I did without. I endured hardship. I experienced pain. I felt loneliness. I cried out in anguish. I shared friendship and felt their betrayal." He came down from His throne in Heaven to teach us, and, ultimately, give His life for us. For me. For You.

This is one of three nativities we have in our home. It is my favorite. It is powerful in the simplicity of the manger scene and its message. Family. Forgiveness. Love. Hope.

May you find these and so much more that only comes from God through His Son, Jesus.

Peace and Joy,
Susan

Isaiah 7:14 (NKJV) Therefore the Lord Himself will give you a sign: Behold, the virgin shall conceive and bear a Son, and shall call His name Immanuel.
