A Hippopotamus for Christmas?

Isn't that what every child wants? A hippopotamus? Ummmm. No. I can't remember ever having that item high on my list. A friend of mine wanted a pot bellied pig. I think she finally got over that. She went with reptiles instead. They are easier to manage. I guess.

I searched high and low for a hippopotamus. I found a few elephants. But not one single hippopotamus. So, I'm using a photo which I took back in 2010 when we took the grand-boy to the zoo. It's a hippopotamus and I took the photo. Just not this week.

To make up for that, I found this funny clip of the song that started it all.

Thank you stopping by and visiting.

Peace and Joy,
Susan

Luke 1:30-33 (NKJV) 30 Then the angel said to her, “Do not be afraid, Mary, for you have found favor with God. 31 And behold, you will conceive in your womb and bring forth a Son, and shall call His name JESUS. 32 He will be great, and will be called the Son of the Highest; and the Lord God will give Him the throne of His father David. 33 And He will reign over the house of Jacob forever, and of His kingdom there will be no end.”

I don't have a single hippo in my house, not even a picture of a hippo so I took the day off from the photo challenge : ) Have a nice weekend!

That counts, definitely! I'm going to have to dig into my pictures for a couple of the prompts.
